Hotel consulting
Hotel consulting: from the lobby to the extranet, for your online sales
I'm Semih Daban. I worked in hotels for 28 years: front office, operations, team and crisis management and hotel management. Today I consult hotels under the name Nuitask.
To me, hotel consulting doesn't mean handing over a report and leaving. I log into the extranets myself, work out the prices myself and check the mappings in the channel manager myself. I work with a select number of hotels, and there's no sales team in between.

What my hotel consulting covers
A hotel's online sales are made of parts that depend on each other. Fix one and leave the others, and the result rarely lasts. So I start with the whole picture and set priorities together with you.
- OTA channel management: Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, Trip.com and Airbnb, B2B and wholesale channels such as Hotelbeds, WebBeds, RateHawk and HyperGuest, and Turkish travel agencies such as Etstur, Tatilbudur and Jolly.
- Revenue management: rate structure, discount logic, cancellation policy and rate parity.
- OTA ranking: content and rates aimed at moving your hotel up in relevant search results.
- Direct bookings: booking engine and website for commission-free sales.
- Google Hotel Ads, free booking links, Google Ads, Google Business Profile and Meta ads.
- Automated rate and parity alerts with n8n; AI only to summarise the findings.
My approach: a setup that protects parity and increases visibility
Where parity breaks, trust breaks. If a guest sees a lower price somewhere else, they book there; if an OTA finds your rate cheaper elsewhere, you fall behind. So I don't look at prices channel by channel but together with your whole distribution setup.
With a pricing and discount setup I developed myself, I protect parity and increase visibility. It is built separately for each hotel, based on market, channel mix and season; we go through the details in the first call.
Why a hotel consultant who came up through operations?
I didn't learn what happens when the PMS and the channel manager stop talking from reports; I learned it first-hand at the front desk. I also handled the hotel's servers, breakdowns and system integrations myself. So my recommendations are ones your team can actually carry out.
I work with the tools hotels already use: Elektraweb, Eptera, HotelRunner, HMS; Booking.com Extranet, Expedia Partner Central, Agoda YCS, Trip.com eBooking; Google Hotel Center, Google Analytics 4, Search Console and Meta Business Suite. You don't need to change systems; I make yours work properly.
Who I work with
Boutique, city and resort hotels and apartment properties, especially those without their own sales or revenue team, or whose team needs an outside view. I work with hotels worldwide and speak English, Turkish, German, Norwegian and Russian.
Because I only work with a few hotels, I log into each extranet regularly myself. Before we start, I'll tell you honestly whether I have the capacity.
How we start
The first call is free and non-binding. We look at where you stand today: which channels are open, how your rates appear on them, how discounts are set up and whether your website takes bookings. Then I tell you what to do first and how we could work together.
Fees depend on the size of the property and the scope of work, which is why there are no fixed prices on the site. For a quote, message me on WhatsApp or use the contact form.
Reporting and communication
Once we work together, I put in writing what I change and why. Short reports show the split of bookings by channel, the state of rates and parity, how visibility develops and the next steps.
I answer your questions myself; there's no account manager or sales team in between. Bigger decisions are always made together with you.
Hotel consulting: frequently asked questions
What does hotel consulting include?
In my work it covers OTA channel management, revenue management and rate parity, OTA rankings, direct bookings and websites, and Google and Meta ads. We decide together where to start, based on your situation.
Do I need to change my channel manager or PMS?
No. I work with the systems hotels use, such as Elektraweb, Eptera, HotelRunner and HMS. The goal is to set up your existing structure correctly and clean up the mappings.
Do you guarantee results?
No, I don't guarantee rankings or revenue, and I'd be careful with anyone who does. I state my goal openly: moving your hotel up in relevant searches and keeping parity on every channel.
How much does hotel consulting cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the number of channels and the scope of work; there's no fixed price list. The first call is free, and you get a written quote afterwards.
Do you work with hotels outside Türkiye?
Yes. Most of the work runs through extranets and channel managers, so I work with hotels worldwide.
